  • Dr. Meredith Conroy Delivers Lecture at Texas Christian University
    Dr. Meredith Conroy, Assistant Professor of Political Science was invited by Texas Christian University to deliver a lecture on her recent scholarship. The title of the talk is "Are You Man Enough: Gender, Media, and the American Presidency." The lecture took place on September 21.

    Dr. Conroy also spoke about gender and government last September at the Andrus Center for Public Policy Conference on Women and Leadership. She is an expert on the factors contributing to the underrepresentation of women in government and discusses why it matters, and offers solutions to the problem.

  • Dr. Brian Levin interviewed about the ‘Alt Right’ movement and the presidential campaign
    As the presidential candidates accuse each other of using race to define their opponent’s positions, Brian Levin, director of Cal State San Bernardino’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, was interviewed about the “alt right” movement that has become associated with GOP nominee Donald Trump.
