  • Dr. Christina Villegas Honored by CSUSB’s Panhellenic Council
    Congratulations to Dr. Christina Villegas, Assistant Professor of Political Science has been named Professor of the Month by the Panhellenic Council at California State University, San Bernardino in May. The Council names one professor every month by each of the four Panhellenic sororities (Alpha Phi, Alpha Delta Pi, Kappa Delta, Zeta Tau Alpha). Dr. Villegas was recognized for her dedication to students in the Panhellenic community and for being an outstanding faculty member.

    Christina Villegas holds a Ph.D. in Politics from the Institute for Philosophic Studies at the University of Dallas. She co-authored the book “Hard Drive: A Family’s Fight against Three Countries,” which chronicles her family’s fight for truth and justice in the mysterious death of her cousin, electrical engineer Dr. Shane Truman Todd, in Singapore. Dr. Villegas teaches courses in American government, public policy, and political thought.
  • Dr. Brian Levin Reflects on the Orlando Mass Shooting
    Dr. Brian Levin, director of CSUSB’s Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism, was mentioned and participated in several news stories regarding the Orlando mass shooting that occurred at Pulse Night Club in Orlando, FL. on June 12, 2016. Dr. Levin was cited in many news outlets, including The New York Times, CNBC, The Sun, The Press Enterprise, The Chicago Tribune, and KVCR among several others. Read the New York Times story here.
