CSUSB Sociology Club honored by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Commission of San Bernardino County
The Sociology Club will be honored by the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Commission of San Bernardino County at their Annual Recognition of Service to Youth on October 11th. This is an honor in recognition for the efforts in working with at risk youth with students from Washington High School.
In May, Option House hosted their annual walk-a-thon to raise awareness against domestic violence and the club was there to help with students and registration. During the summer, the officers also volunteered with Arrowhead United Way in donating school supplies and filling 700 backpacks for low-income children in San Bernardino County. The club is also participating in many upcoming events such as the Walk to Remember and DisAbility Sports Event being hosted at Cal State.
